Mac version crashing to desktop seconds after loading into world

I was just wondering if any other mac users were having crash to desk top issues with ATS, or ETS2.

ETS2 isn't too bad normally, until I enter any of the DLC expansion areas, where quite often the game crashes to desktop (and the error report shows up half a minute later). ATS however is extremely crash prone, and I've not been able to play for long. On launch it was a crash every half hour or so, but currently it only takes a few seconds after loading.

Is there a likely cause, or is the mac client unstable?

Really hoping I can play soon! Love the game

Hey! I just loaded the game back up to get a report, and it crashed a minute or so after I started driving. The log is exceedingly long, so I'll post as much as it will fit, but I can email the full thing if needed?

It may be an OpenGL issue. I was having similar problems with my MacBook Pro, I'd get to a point and the game would crash in both ETS2 and ATS. I contacted SCS and they advised me of an issue with the games and the OpenGL implementation in the nVidia driver on Macs.



I've since gotten into the habit of switching my graphics to the Intel card and have had no problems since. Sadly, I don't think you have that ability on the iMac.

Ahh.. yeah.. I figured it was a graphical error, since it only happened when I hit the 'new' prettier areas, and not so much in the base ETS2, or menus.


Damn, another reason I need to make the change to PC
