Granny Shifting Not Double Clutching Like You Should
With the new public beta, double clutching has been introduced as a "thing" now. Problem is, I dont see that its made it any harder. Previously, if I were to slam shift it (single clutch right into gear) it would grind. If I went into gear too soon it would begin to grind. I always double clutched before but now when I do it there seems to be no grinding at all unless I deliberately do it. THoughts?

Do you have 'g_hshifter_synchronized 0' in your config file?

It is all in Documents\American Truck Simulator

You have to look in the spesific profile folder to edit the proper config.cfg file as these settings are set for each profile.

There has to be.
Remember, not the config.cfg in the root American Truck Simulator folder, but in the profile subfolder for the profile you're using.

If you've set the gear type (10, 13 or 18) used for the shifter then there will be lines starting with "uset g_hshifter"

If you cant find the specific setting then just add it.

I went into the ATS folder, saw some folders like "mod, profiles etc* with some ending with bak 1.5 etc or something. I went into the folder that was soley profile because it was the most recently modified one during my play time. Inside were 3 sub folders. Is this the place?

even in real life im not too proficient, Heel toe is something I havent had enough experience for (and the cars I tried on had stupid huge transmission tunnels) but i can drive them just fine. In this though i cant do it properly with a non synchro box. More practise then
