It has been quite a while since I used my Logitech wheels and I did have the G29 before replacing it with the G920. Although, mine was faulty, I liked the wheel.
Firstly, you need to go to the Logitech website, select support, select controllers and then select your wheel. You will need to download the software for your wheel, making sure you choose the 64bit and not the 32bit. The latest software is;
LGS_8.91.48_x64_Logitech.exe
Run the software and it will install the control panel for your wheel.
If you have already done that then please ignore that. I have mentioned it because some people have asked for help and they had not downloaded the software for their wheel.
Leave the settings in your Logitech software at default. In ATS the settings for your wheel should be;
Steering - Centred
Accelerator - Inverted
Brake - Inverted
Set the sensitivity for your wheel at 100% (full right)
set the non-linearity for your wheel at 0% (full left)
With those settings you should have full 1:1 sync with the in-game wheel.
With the Force Feedback (FFB) settings, set the accidents at 0% (full left) otherwise you will receive a shock and a harsh jolt if you have an accident.
Set the terrain at about 5-10% otherwise your wheel will shake when going on rough surfaces.
Set the engine to 0-5% otherwise your wheel will shake when the engine is running.
I hope this helps you. Enjoy the game and your new wheel.
Just to add, make sure you have set your wheel to PS4 and not PS3. PS4 is for use with Windows and PS3 is not. The switch is on the top of the wheel. Also make sure you have your wheel plugged into a USB2 Port directly onto your computer and not a USB3 Port or a shared USB Hub.
