will horn work to force the little cars move faster if i'm running at 75 MPH (about approxity 120 km/h) when the navigation says 75 MPH (approxity 120 km/h)?

No.

so it is fair to force the little cars move faster in real life when i use the horn?

The horn has no impact on the AI. The only thing that affects their behaviour is when you use turn signals.

or using hazard signals to push the little car to move any faster further?

Hazard lights wont impact the AI either. Turn signals left and right plus dual signals (F key) on traffic behind will work but high beams and horn do not. If you're going 75mph and a car in front is doing the same; you'll just have to rely on the AI itself in that situation.

The horn does work on the AI. If you are in a traffic jam and you lean on the horn for a while, the AI traffic will break up. Same thing happens if you have your four-way flashers on. The AI will also try a little harder to avoid hitting you, or at least they will use their horns when you are going to hit them. Nither horn nor flashers will make the AI travel faster.

Hazard lights do have effect on AI traffic. When I say hazard lights I'm referring to your 4-ways, or dual signals as you are calling it I think.

Are you sure this is due to the horn, and not something that would have happened regardless?

Test it for yourself and see what you think. I've used this trick quite a number of times. *cough*Tonopah*cough*

Haha, ohh yeah the Tonopah intersection. So annoying. Last night I was behind a bus on the overtaking lane, but unfortunately its speed was the same as the truck it was overtaking. I kept honking a lot of times. The bus didn't bunch an inch and it was going at 62 mph in a 75 mph zone. Then I've had enough and said "screw it" went on the median to overtake the suckers. :steamfacepalm:

There is no result expectation in the code in regards to the horn - it's just a audible cosmetic output essentially and any visual gameplay impact when activated would be down to coincidence and the same end result would have occured with it not being pressed.

Positive. The only output result is audible with no other listed expectation which means when it's pressed; all that happens is a noise from a changable sound file.

I have found that neither the horn or the flashing lights have any effect on the ai. Its like they just don't see them..

This is one of my wish list items, I wish I could tell the AI to clear the intersection. I know they are being polite stopping to allow me to turn left in front of them BUT they are usually sitting in the spot I am about to take 42t over. I want to be able to tap the horn to tell them to clear. Reloading the profile seems like a cheap way to clear traffic, but it does work.
