Deactivate the bleeping beepers

Ok how do I get rid of this annoying backup beeping sound? I am not a fan of them and at times it drives me to want to shoot my monitor :( Any ideas where to deactivate them once and for all.

As annoying as it is, its a law in the united states. but this is a game so do as you wish. (You could mod it into a bell from a railroad crossing like Ive seen one truck do in real life).

It may be the law, but a bunch of truckers deactivate it especially if they do a lot of hard drop-offs. Nobody wants to be woken up after a long trip across the country by some dumbass trying to park his trailer.

Out of my whole life i haven't came across one that has had one in place..
loaders and so forth yeah but not semi trucks, so i dont think really think law aplly's in this matter at all.

The only truck I have seen with one is my dad's rollback, but the only reason he has it is because it's required for police calls. Otherwise I have never seen one with a beeper.

Umm.. The beeper is not a law in the US. It is a law in SOME STATES but not all and for sure not at a nation wide format.
