You may want to get a desktop for games like these...
Then download and install the C2C map and the Canadream map. Try those instead of using the C2C, Canadream and Viva Mexico maps.
The Coast to Coast map and the Canadream map have been working together without problem for a long time, with and without patches. I have never used the Viva Mexico map but if anything would be a problem it would be with that map.
If you still have problems, delete that profile and make another and only download the C2C map. If you still have problems then it is most likely your limitation of using a laptop. Best to try options first before making judgements on whether your laptop is at fault.
The C2C map and also the Canadream maps are better to download from the SCS forum as that is the place where both map authors have their own threads on their maps, ManiaX and Mantrid. Perhaps it is your computer's limitation but the following are the links:
