ive got a question or two. how long is the demo for and can you do multiplayer with it?

No, you can not play MP with the demo.

It might be considered an exploit, but I found you can actually play the demo version infinite times as long as you keep on making new profiles. When it says your demo time runs out, just switch to another profile and you can keep playing (of course you're starting from scratch again, but oh well).

No, I tried the demo before I got ATS, and it said one day.

I tried the euro truck simulator 2 demo and it didn't last that long

The ATS (and ETS2 as well) demo ends after 8 jobs or about 3000 km whichever comes first. There is no explicit time limit. There is no VR support in the demo.
