Which map mod to start with - coast to coast, mexico, canada?

Mexico.... Combine with Oversized Trailers mod for a truly gnarly driving experience

Its depends what you're looking for in a map mod. If you're just looking for long driving distances and you don't care about the scenery, Coast to Coast is the way to go. If you're looking details and an upgraded map, try Project West.

I've just started using them myself. c2c was a little bland for my tastes but it does offer huge distances. Just got into canada. Seems a lot more fleshed out than c2c so far. Haven't tried the mexico mod yet so couldn't say on that. Also the dalton highway map is nice and in 1-1 scale so prepare for some long long drives on that one. It also has snow so makes it a bit more interesting but it's a standalone map. No matter what i think they all add a lot of playability to the game and are worth the time.

I should`nt bother with any of them SCS just announced a paid for DLC which should be New Mexico

They annoucned New Mexico like 2-3 months ago. It may still be sometime before it's out. Who knows.

They annoucned New Mexico like 2-3 months ago. It may still be sometime before it's out. Who knows.

SCS knows and they would`nt announce it`s nearly ready if it was`nt already in BETA testing

Be aware, any new map added to the game will break all map mods and they will need to be updated before they will be compatible. If you choose to use map mods now and SCS release the New Mexico map and you choose to purchase it, any map mods you have will no longer work and could crash your game.

Thanks everyone - giving coast to coast a try first now, seems to work fine :) I started it on a second profile just to be sure.

try all three at once .they should be patched to work together now . i dont know about the dalton map.
