Anyone remember Gearhead Garage?

Back in the day I loved Gearhead Garage. Can anyone who has bought this and knows about GHG tell me if it bears any resemblance? From the video, it looks like it might be pretty cool.

I loved GHG back in the day and thought right away that this looks very similar. I'd love to know if there's the GHG style option to fix up old cars bought at auction or if it's just repair jobs?

Oh yeah, loved Gearhead Garage! Tricking out a sweet kidnapping ride...er custom van...and selling it for tons of money was so much fun.

Whenever i thnk of gearhead garage my mind always drifts back to Motorcity Online too .... Ahh fond memories. I too will be waiting to see what dopehat has to say <Fingers crossed>

Just tried the first tutorial mission where you have to examine the brake parts and pads it reminds me ALOT of GHG. The color system with green being good and red being bad I haven't seen a black part yet. You can buy used parts also just like in GHG have no idea if I can fix em or what. It seems similar but it's in 3d if that helps you walk around the garage with WASD. I don't know if you can buy a car and put it in an auction like in GHG but maybe I just haven't gotten that far lol. But it seems fun so far haven't had any crashes or anything like that

How bout Motor City Online? You had to have references just to race - due to trolls.

I'm still yet to find a game like the old Motor City Online. There have been a few that looked promising but nothing that really meshed well. To bad it wasn't made today rather than back when multiplayer games were a minority.

Good to hear it's like GHG. I may pick this up if turns out like that.

Just watched a couple of quick vids on Youtube & it does look rather like GHG. Just counting the pennies now & dithering . LOL

As for MCO Denney , EA decided to drop it due to the bad sales in the US . They didn't release it in the U.K or Europe as they promised they were going to & the coders & designers got pulled of MCO & dragged onto the NFS project 11 yrs ago.
Shame as I absolutely loved the game & have not found anything yet to come close.

One of Motor City's Online's biggest problems were the limited amount of broadband connections at the time of release.
