Spanish translations WTF??

Hi all,

im just a new member of this game, and im very surprised for the translations that you have used for us.

Im Spanish and when i read for example "Boton de arranque" im only thinking on Latin American country speech.

On spanish the correct translation for "Starter" will be "Motor de arranque"

there are more

Caliper-Calibrador del freno-Pinza de freno

Convertidor Catalitico- Catalizador

Engranaje- Caja de Cambios

Flujometro de aire - Caudalimetro

Placa de friccion de embrague - Disco de embrague

Resorte de suspension delantero - Muelles delanteros or Muelles suspension delanteros

Resorte de suspension trasero - Muelles traseeros or Muelles suspension traseros

Serpentin - Correa de accesorios

Silenciador medio - Intermedio - Silenciador intermedio

Vaina de goma - Silentblock

Note - the Silentblocks of the engine ar called Tacos motor ,

the final note is just the slang terminology, not the correct translation BTW (and it's wrong to use it, some might even find it as a you mocking latin americans, so, just leave it as silentblock or whatever it is now)



also, "no" to the OP, the current translations in the game are not even close to the Latin American terminology or names, they are wrong for them as well, as a Mexican with Spaniard family and friends, I can tell you that the translations you (the poster) added are the correct ones for LA as well (if anything, I'm doubting the Caudalimetro one, but it's ok)


no idea who decided on "boton de arranque" (I mean, it's NOT a button, that would be a button to start the car, not the starter), in LA it's "marcha" in slang, but "Motor de arranque" is the correct term...
