Why do they keep removing the H scenes...

I was really disappointed to see yet again like other Jast Blue titles that many scenes will be removed from the steam version despite all the stuff that is implied within the trailer. With all the H games that are on steam now I fail to understand their need to continue to take it away from us or force us into buying a DLC from their site otherwise. Might as well just buy it from the site if this is the case yet again.

Most likely that's the case; to "force" people to buy directly from their website.
That way they get to keep 100% of the money, and people can't just easily refund the games.
I sent an email asking them to put the R18 DLCs on Steam but they didn't budge. So I don't see them stopping this practice anytime soon.
Which is a shame, since I can't buy from their adult store without using VPN, which will get my PayPal account restricted.

Publishers do that when the characters are high schoolers(or even just young looking), so that it wouldn't get banned. But I still don't understand why JAST still does this, despite all of the boys being adults and none of them looking very young...Is it that hard to make a paid DLC for Steam?

I feel like steam is a bit biased even with that though cause there are plenty of visual novels with women that appear young or to my memory are even in or emplied to be in highschool. Makes so little sense to me but I suppose this is the timeline we all must suffer in.

We take no risks with Steam. If your game gets banned, there is no recourse. It's what it is. I'm sorry it has to be this way.

I'm glad the patch is free at least. Other games in the past have made you pay for the patch when the game is the same price on both platforms. Knowing this does make me more comfortable buying it here.

Theres two other reasons that the JAST staffer in this thread won't directly say.

- all ages versions of VNs increasingly sell more nowadays, hence why fewer companies in Japan make adult titles and/or rework them for the all ages market. the market there is shrinking. overseas is where the money is.
-If your game is not on Steam, it will likely sell poorly, and publishers know this. if you try to submit a game which Valve unfairly bans, its also a huge waste of time, money and resources. In JAST's case, Steam burnt them a few years unfairly banning the custom all ages build they made for Full Metal Deamon Muramasa. Hence why they premptively censor a lot of content nowadays (ie. Tokyo Necro). I don't blame them for taking no chances nowadays.

Download it from here:
https://jastusa.com/games/blue006_r18dlc/paradise-18+-content-dlc

And after it is done downloading you have to manually place the file into the game directory which is located at
Steam>Steamapps>common> Paradise

Let it all overwrite

After it is done you can just launch the game normally from Steam, and the patch should work.
