Am I missing something?
I'm enjoying the game and trying to get all the achievements (although they're such a grind), but I'm just curious about a couple obstacles that seem to be run-killers every time..

One of which being a log wall directly after a steep incline -- it's obviously just unfortunate that you'd get both in succession like that but it's pretty much unavoidable, you don't have the height to jump over as you are running uphill.

Also, in Hazard 8/9/10, you are running so fast that if you have a wall followed by a high log, your run is just over. You can't jump and land fast enough to go into a slide.

Those and the such high price for upgrades are my only issues with the game -- it's cute as heck and replayable

In general, you're just hitting end-game. When you start hitting the highest hazards, you're up against RNG (random number generation), which will absolutely throw you unavoidable things now and then. Similarly, the last few upgrades tend to be more expensive to try and account for how unpredictably high your golden kitty earning can be at high hazards. Again, because RNG sometimes gives you an easy run, and then woo.
Even balanced like it is, we still have players who will just keep running forever at Hazard 9, somehow. There's tricks to get around most of the arrangements of obstructions, I think? Honestly not sure how they do it, heh. The game would really like it if you'd not beat level 9, because then it's out of new hazards and just keeps giving you 9's.

Haha that's a good way to look at it actually. Well I still think the game's sweet. Maybe if there was an upgrade that allowed you to dash downward after a jump, it would make the unavoidable stuff kinda avoidable if you have the reaction time :excitedCP:
