But animals also sometimes glitch out or get affected by lag. So in some cases your arrows may not properly connect/register.
It's better to just use a hunter's horn, hit it once, wait a few seconds for it to stop teleporting, and then track it down.
If you hit with normal arrow then good luck because it will teleport thrught whole map
What most people don't seem to be realizing is that with the Proudhorns you can pretty reliably herd them exactly to where you want it to go.
You want it to move forward, you shoot it from behind, what it to move the opposite direction it's facing, shoot it in the front, and so on. If it's moving in a direction you don't want it to, shoot it again and it'll move in the opposite direction.
If you can herd it to statue garden it'll teleport itself up where the statues are, stay far enough back from it and it'll just get stuck up there and keep teleporting and stopping up there, makes it easy to finish it off. same thing along the beach and some of the alcoves along the edge of the map.
But I always thought the idea of the tactical arrows was to hunt in like a trio first dispels, second slows, third iron. As i feel trying to cycle the arrows solo would be a waste (personally i just use iron I find the chase a fun distraction, every now and then).
