OMG thank you i got it :D
Let me preface this by saying, I hate platforming. I have spent hours on this temple. I'm within range of finishing and I can't get over the top. I tried what you said, it worked once and then I fell off the platform (shocking for me..lol). So I have now tried it 10 more times and can't get it work. Needless to say I am beyond frustrated. Any other tips?
I'm sorry, I don't :( It worked for me fine. Maybe take a break and a snack and come back fresh? I HATE platforming, I'm super bad at it because i'm not coordinated at all and keep hitting the space bar for no reason and falling. it took me a couple breaks to get through the wind temple.
I took breaks too. Many in game days of breaks. Anyway, I guess frustration posting worked. I was able to get up finally and get across the platforms. Thank you!
Nice! You know, I swear there's something to that. In the Coral Island discord people pop in all the time to vent about not getting a certain item or fish or whatever, and they always get it right after. So now we encourage venting to RNJeesus to get what you need.
I also hate platforming. That's why I choose this game, something nice and mellow. This quest and the whole campaign on these floating islands is a real turn off. It makes me not want to play. I just want to get these quest over with. Then to get this far and there's a bug!! UGH>
I had to jump from the small wall to the right of the ladder and latch onto the side of the ladder and not the front. It was stupid hard to latch onto the front jumping straight at it. Then climb up the side of the ladder and over the top.
On both sides of the ladder part with the up arrows on there are small square pillar like sections and I found that even going up over the front was easier if I was on those bits. The up arrow bit just wouldn't work at all.
That might work for you even if this isn't the exact ladder in question.
