Temple of waves no gliding

Wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue. Trying to glide across the river in the temple but it's like there's an invisible wall and my glider doesn't want to stay open? If I open it four or five times in a row I can get half way, but always land in the water and can't get to the temple side for my quests.

I'm having this issue too, and I don't launch it through steam. This is the only instance that pops up from search engine too. :(

I was having this issue as well and just tried again and they seemed to have fixed it and i was able to glide across it if you guys haven't tried yet!

I'm also having this problem and have been for a while. Did any of you find a solution to it?

same problem still today. Glider opens but shuts immediately. cannot complete quests. It worked today. I play on pc. I had multiple quests here one for Surbia one for Hodari. Had to finish Hodaris quest first then I was able to use the glider to cross.

I had the same issue with the glider not working and also having the Hodari quest and the Subira quest being active at the same time...

Thanks @akricket8531 for mentioning you could progress after finishing Hodari's quest, that worked for me too once I realized you were able to do it (figured out how to climb down low enough to fish... there certainly aren't enough mushrooms to forage on this side of the cliff).

I'm guessing Subiru's quest is blocking us from crossing until we talk to her again. Which she doesn't show up again until Hodari is out of there... I think I got auto-Subiru'd as soon as Hodari left. Then I could glide like normal.

I sent a message to the Palia team asking about this as I'm having the same problem, but I'll check my quest log to see if I have an unfinished Hodari quest as well.

can i ask what quest from Hodari? Cuz i just finished all of quest, but the main quest. so, i really confused how to gliding in temple of waves
