Garden plot bug

Badruu gave me the garden plots and a hoe, (I did place them down) and I supposed to plow them but when I do that nothing happens, and Badruu is standing in my land all day, when I try talking to him he makes a joke and nothing else, because he can't help me unless I plow the ground, NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I PLOW, I'm stuck in this gardening quest, how do I fix it?

YES I DID!!!

Once you have the hoe equipped you have to hold down the left mouse button and walk along the garden plot, this will plow the 9 individual squares in each garden plot.
