Flametongue Ray

The flametongue ray is RIDICULOUSLY rare, so much so, I almost want to quit the whole game. I have used hundreds of glow worms in all the right places at the right time of day. I'm sure I'll come across more stupidly rare bugs and fish as I try to complete the big wall too... GRR!!!

you are right, it is one of most rare items and most rare fish in the whole game. So that's why it is so hard to get

the best way to save on glow worm is to not reel in if its the wrong fish, wont use bait that way :)

If you start at the fishing spot behind the inn fish just the hot spots there and then go up to the next fishing spot along the same river and fish only the hot spots there. by the time you do that and go back to the fishing spot behind the inn the hot spots will have respawned. Rinse and repeat until you get the starred Flametongue Ray.

can i suggest the river near the bridge towards bahari bay, in front of einar's cave...i managed to get few flame rays there...i didn't try anywhere else..

I have played since day one of closed Beta, it took me 5 irl weeks and over 1k of Glow Worms to catch a non starred Long Nosed Unicorn Fish for the Waves bundle. I understand your frustration, but if it's getting you down, just leave trying to catch it for a short time. I would also suggest grouping up with people for the party buffs.

For me the hardest fish was the Fairy Carp. I think we get assigned random hard to catch items.
