The Palium Search

To encourage folks to share palium finds (a lot of us already do that), my idea is if a player hits a Palium node with a flare, it should stay there LONGER, and for every other player that hits/mines the flared node, the all players who mined that node will get 1 extra ore each, to encourage the palium find to be announced to the server in chat. Also, since some impatient folks hate hanging around, the extra pal should be sent to their pack automatically, rather than requiring them to hang around picking up loot until everyone mines the node or it vanishes....more friendly cooperation rewards for everyone!

Everyone thinks flow groves were the greatest thing, but it was actually a nerf to collecting flow wood (a nerf in disguise).

Before the groves, I could easily get 200+ flow wood per hour. Now, I get 20 to 60, depending on the size of the grove (and this is after they increased the drop amount).

Right now, I can get 100+ Palium ore per hour. Maybe they should do the same thing to Palium as they did to flow trees. Give us a Palium ore deposit once per hour, but you only get 20 - 60 ore. People would love that, too.

Im pretty new to the game and Palium is easy enough to find and lots of folks will announce and flare the node and if you are in a party you get extra mats too.
The flare lasting longer is a good idea though.
I play solo most of the time and still end up at least trying to help others as i play, like announcing pals and ft`s.
I personally find that people are more impatient at a grove and most players dont even try and help with a single ft unless they are new to the game. There are some long time players that still help with single ft`s.
There seems to be lots of little bugs in the game that need fixed and they might concentrate on those first.

Stop calling it out and just mine it with those immediately around you.

The way resource respawns work in this game, everyone would get more if they'd just put in the work to walk around and mine nodes so Palium respawns more often.

There are a few things i don't gift to players when they request it .. pallium, dari cloves and flow wood .... you need to put in the work to get these resources not just ask for them ..
i've seen players ask for like 20 flow planks 3 times in a row ...
If i find a FT i will announce it also to get help cutting it down .. and pallium if its medium or large i'll announce it ..

I'm kinda new - I announce FTs and PAL (med/lrg or clusters) and only announce smalls to nearby people. I use flares a lot. I try to wait on lrg PAL by collecting nearby resources to help with the de-spawning timer.

I also mine everything I find (iron and stone) to help re-spawn rate.

But also I've been online playing while lots of people aren't announcing or flaring at all.

Second on this - the flare should last at least the de-spawn timer or more? One thing that is hard though is if you find a 2nd rare resource nearby and re-flare - your original flare is gone.

yeah, I was thinking about the single flare too. Maybe if we had the chance to set 3 flares with a colour for each. May make things easier.

Wow! I'm lucky if I return to my plot with 50 palium after running around in bahari for 2 irl hours.
The other day I got 4 palium in one hour.

The secret is to mine every stone and iron that you see. If someone calls out Palium, go get it. Also make sure to call out any you find for other people.

Stick to the southern portion of Bahari Bay. There are more nodes down there, and other people will be mining the northern portion and call out the Palium that spawns. Use the fast travel when going back and forth to make getting the Palium quicker.

I even stopped for the grove and to catch bugs.

Edit: For the grove, I just hit every tree and went back to mining, then picked up the wood after the grove was chopped. Also, make sure you check the caves in the southern area, as mining nodes will spawn in there.

I've been doing this, besides using the fast travel. Maybe that's what I need to do lol.
