Having trouble Befriending the Blacksmith

I'm at romance lvl 3 with Hassian and our relationship won't progress further until I'm friendship 4 with Sifuu.

Here's my problem. I'm at friendship 3 with her, finished the Proudhorned Surnuk quest but i'm unable to lvl her friendship up. I cannot gift her items, when we chat it's the same dialogue, shows I'm leveling her but when i got to check the meter it has not moved. I'm so frustrated as it has been two days of me trying to lvl this friendship up. Am I missing something or is there a real issue in the game that yet has to be fixed????

Have already completed Hunting for meaning quest. Which is why I am troubled with this.

But did you gave the proudhorn to Sifuu ? It has to be in your inventory and than give it to her

decided what the heck I'll kill another proud horn. Did that and went to chat with sifuuand it fixed the problem with friendship bar from being stuck, so we will see. thanks for the help :P
