Why can´t i use Tamala´s Cauldron if i got all ingresients ? anyone knows

UHHH probably the majority of us are already past that stage if we are all saying we cant use her cauldron for the Another Way quest.

I don't read as much in this game as I should.. too much time would be consumed if I did.. it's just click click click, do thing, click click, get reward.

Which means when I went to brew Trish's stuff, I got the 4 items and went straight inside Tamala's house and used her Cauldron.. DGAF if she approved or not.. and the game had no problem with me doing so..

So if the "bug" is that Tamala is telling you no, and you haven't even tried the cauldron, then I'm not sure you can say it's a "bug" and you can't complete the quest.. Might be you're just being deterred by misleading context..

Edit: As a support tech, when I read someone say: "I can't use the cauldron" I figured the option to hit "F" at the cauldron was not available.. didn't even think about this just being Tamala saying no..

I pretty much did the same thing. It never occurred to me to even talk to Tamala before using her cauldron. I was used to barging into peoples' houses and doing what I wanted in the game by that point. I did feel a little bad later when Tamala was upset but I had what I needed.

You were speaking about using the cauldron for mysterious brew were you not?

What i'm trying to say is that I personally was able to use her cauldron for the mysterious brew quest but was UNABLE to use it for the another way quest. She flat out told me "NO, and if I were to touch her personal stuff I would learn why the villagers are scared of her" (or something similar to that). After that, the cauldron would not let me interact with it further. I have seen others state this same information, so I am assuming they also finished mysterious brew but are now stuck on another way and most likely the 2 other quests that are tied to it (super snoopers and catch a falling star).

You are correct that you can't press "F" on the cauldron. What I was saying is that, if you ask Tamala, she says you can't use the cauldron. Normally, you can use it anyway, even if she doesn't give consent. The bug is that "F" doesn't appear.

Wait.. you have to use her cauldron more than once in the same quest chain? If this is the case, then I must not be to the point everyone's complaining about (I JUST maxed Zeki last night and still need to max Reth).. but if this is the case I am sensing where the bug exists..

Willing to bet they likely have something set up to allow the cauldron to be used for the quest, but once you use it, it's rendered used and cannot be re-used for the second item..

Same issue for me... Can't progress anymore in the game cause it stuck my 2 sidequests. I've all max reputation to all villagers et can't debug the situation. I've uninstalled the game, cause I can't progress anymore and no update to resolve this. Nice game but support sucks and devs too. This team doesn't have teamwork for their players.

Initially, I approached the cauldron {which was accessible} and was told to add items {which I did not have}. Before returning with items, Palia was upgraded...and after the upgrade, access was now, denied.
Whether it's correct, or not...this is the method that worked, for me:
"Before making Mysterious Brew, make Another Way, without Tamala's knowledge.
The cauldron stays hot, and you can proceed with Tamala's Brew"

You likely made the Mysterious Brew before the upgrade, and now suffer the MO change.
As it stands, Another Way has to be performed first, because Tamala does not want to let you use it for anything else. Thus, the reason for subterfuge.

The method suggested, should help people who have not yet made Mysterious Brew.
Speed will catch one every time!

Same here I've put so much money and time into this game. so disappointing I can't finish 3 final friendships because of this ♥♥♥♥. Now i'm stuck on Einar final quest but it doesn't finish it either. This game could be so much more but its failed us. bye

so if the dev's just undo everyone's mysterious brew quest, then everyone would/ should have access to the cauldron. so you cant complete the brew until you reach level 4 quest with Tish and same goes for Zeki and Reth. So really the bug should just unbug by undoing the mysterious brew for everyone.

FYI: Dev's for this game have been affected by the California fires, please be patient.

find and fix the bug, then you know what caused it and can correct affected players.. without doing the former, players that have been able to complete this quest could potentially be robbed of their progression and regressed back to an incompletable state.. Find and fix the bug first, then worry about rectification.. otherwise you're just throwing water on a fire hoping it's not electrical or fuel based.. (sorry for the poorly timed analogy)
