Stealth Star-quality seeds buff?
I am a new player that has been playing for a little less than two weeks now. At a friend's advice, I set myself a tomato farm quite early to prevent being gated by gold too much. I have been running my 9 soils (so 81 plants) with star seeds only for over a week now and it has always yielded me enough regular tomato to keep four worm farm running 24/7 and sustain all my focus need with vegetable stew, the rest of the star tomato being processed either in seeds or preserved jar. I try and harvest my tomatoes between 5 to 7 times per day. Since this morning, I have noticed that none of my gatherings have yielded any significant amount of normal quality tomatoes, usually getting 2 to 6 for the whole field.

I am by no mean complaining, I was just curious if anyone else noticed.

skill...you get better ql as you get higher. and potatoes in jars = more coin than tomatoes.

You get 2 to 3 potatoes per plant over 5 days, which means each plant gives you between 0.4 and 0.6 crop per day. It also takes 54 minutes to make 68 gold from the potato, limiting the amount you can process.

Tomato plants get you 8 to 12 tomatoes per plant over 10 days, so between 0.8 to 1.2 per day. The processing time to preserve them is 27 minutes, half that of potato.

This means that assuming none of your equipment ever runs out of processing ingredient you produce 2 jars of tomatoes for each jar of potatoes, nullifying the increased price. Running the full field my 15 preserves jar never run out of ingredient, I even still have too many tomatoes being produced.

to actually answer your question, yeah non-starred crops become more rare the higher your lvl is. makes it super hard to fulfill requests which kind of sucks because as a new player you want to keep most to yourself and once you feel steady enough to actually help others - you cant. once you can make muujin bahari theyre the best ones to use for worms :) you can also farm mushrooms (the red ones) or sweet leaf as to not waste produce since theyre easy to get.
