PREPARING FOR ELDERWOOD FOR BEGINNERS

So, here's my list for newer players who might not be sure how to prep for Elderwood. :) (I've been playing for almost a year and these are the items I almost forgot to start stocking up)

1: Buy the copper and iron chest recipes from Tish. You can expand your storage to 10,000 (takes lots of heartwood and the other wood, so stock up!)
2: Get rocks for glass panes and light bulbs
3: Stock up on glow worms and regular worms (chapaa meat is good for the glow worms)
4: Honey lures (you can buy these from Auni with bug medals if you don't have the items to make them)
5: Fisherman's Stew
6: Bug bombs (requires clay and the water flowers. Stock up on both!)
7: Dragon's Beard Peat (required to make honey lures. Hard to get)
8: Apples! (For making honey lures, feeding worms, and making jam for cash if needed)
9: If you have a lot of hunting medals that you don't plan on spending for decor, buy the 10 medal fireworks, sell for a profit
10: Don't forget to use your focus points! There's the Dragon Shrine and the Phoenix Shrine. Rotate between the two to maximize your focus and gain achievements more quickly/easily

Also money in general, they usually like to add stuff with money and not coins! :D
So keep on yourself 100k-200k if you can!

They might add higher level friendship and romance levels, so it might be a good idea to max all your relationships.

Oh! Are you saying that the copper or iron chests allow more storage that the 3200 provided by the 8 wooden chests?

You can have up to 10 000 space from fully upgraded chests!

Depending on what you keep in those chests, it might be a good idea to
a) sell it, if doesn't serve a purpose
b) cook it and sell it for more money
c) have an empty home plot to place your star fish/bugs/dishes/jewels or flowers and flower seeds that you want to keep for later. So litteraly everything that can be placed in your home but is not in the furniture tab, could go there to free up some space in your chest
