I Want A House

My friend and I started this game together. Separately we had to do the starting part where we get a plot and clear it to build our home. For some reason I got a tent whilst my friend has a house!

How do I get a house, and why did I not also get a house?

after you do all the beginning quests to get started, you will be gifted a house. when on your farm, press H for the building menu. if you have the house blueprint it will be at the top.

Thank you. What happened was a little odd, as my friend received a house instantly on first visiting their plot. I however received a tent and I now have a house after completing the quest and getting the stone smelter and saw mill to make the required resources. My friend didn't need to do any of that, so not sure why our start was different.

But anyway, I have a house now, so i'm happy lol :)

I just found out they changed the new player stuff. You no longer get a tent and instead are told to repair a house.

I don't know why you would have gotten a tent and not a house, though.

Sometimes, devs roll out new updates to randomly selected accounts. Make sure all is working before the change is universal. Just a theory.

Thaty must be very recent, because I started maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago, and I still got a tent.

i smell corruption. they must have paid the mayor to get that house, quick report it to the chappa police!. unless...... ! the chappa police was on it too!!!!
