Palia Crashing on startup after update

Palia wont even open after the update for me. It just brings up the crash report client as soon as I press play. I verified integrity of game files; I havent ever had a problem before this update. Wont allow me to play the game:(

My game is also crashing. I've been sending in the reports as requested by the pop-up window after the crash.

Run the game on DX11 instead of 12
Open file explorer - %localappdata%\Palia\Saved\Config\WindowsClient
Open Engine.ini with notepad scroll at the very end and add a new line:

[/script/windowstargetplatform.windowstargetsettings]

DefaultGraphicsRHI=DefaultGraphicsRHI_DX11

Save and Exit, start the game and hope for the best <(^-^)>
If that doesn't help but makes things worse, you can always delete these two lines and everything will be back to normal.

I also having problems with this update since yesterday, I even uninstalled and reinstalled and still black screen with just music and nothing else showing. It's driving me nuts

for anyone wondering all other fixes didnt work but setting it to dx11 like this person said helped, so thank you!!

Same. and i've tried the "fixes". Still constant crashing.
I hope this company is going to get tired of all the swear words they are getting in that stupid pop up black crash box and fixes the problem they created again.
