fish stew recipe - please help

Hi,

I've been fishing constantly for 3 days. according to youtube videos I've watched I'm in the right spot, the island off of fishcomber's cove. The video says I need to use a worm, which I am using. I'm using the minor health rod booster, I'm also using a drink that gets made at the campfire, I forget what it's called. I dont' have bobbers yet. I'm at skill level 8 and using the best rod available to me at this point.

Any tips? I'd like to get that fish stew recipe.

Not sure what island you're referring to but it can be fished anywhere along the Bahari coast with a normal worm. It is random so could take a long time.

Just keep trying. It took nearly 60 hours of hard core fishing for me to catch the sushi recipe. I was luckier with sashimi and fish stew. One I caught without trying and the other just a few hours.

one tip I can give is don't fish the star quality pools.. I've had better luck getting items from regular fishing, whereas the only thing I get from the star quality pools besides star quality fish are waterclogged chests with makeshift gear in them..

Try taking a break for a bit.

I was trying for a week or so to get the stew, finally gave up and decided it was a waste of time.

Week or so later, had to go fishing and then caught two of the recipes in the space of ten minutes

It took me a few attempts at this too! Don't give up, its there...
Go to the northest north place you can i Bahari bay on the coast, face as north as you can it helped for me :) Goodluck :)

Took me ~40 fish attempts from the dock with the worm. Got it at night (probably irrelevant).

You're right. This kind of stuff is how we got the "palium migration" and "milkshake" garbage.

The simple fact is that you use worms in the ocean, and there's a certain % chance that you'll get it. Period.
