Fish Catching Rates (%)

I spent 200+ Glow Worms to catch a Stormray, and I've used about 100 Glow Worms and still trying to catch the Giant Kilima Stingray for the Vault of the Gales.

I understand what times these fish are available so I don't waste any Glow Worms, but what are the expected catch rates for fish? Does anyone know?

i drowned several hundred glow worms getting both/ and not really wasted as each fish you catch is more valuable than the worm. my pocket doesn't suffer from extra fish i dont need.

About 1-6% depending of the rarity of the fish.
You get a little bit more % if you fish from bubbles.

Fishing Tip:
If you dont reel in when a fish bites then wait it leaves you can recast and it wont consume any bait.
Find someone fishing in the area where you need to fish, get the fishing speed bonus and just recast over and over till you get the fish. You could also use the speed bonus hook but Id recommend the one that increases capture area. Also some fishing buff foods don't hurt.
