Account linking question

Our family has four people. We try to keep to our own computers, but at times we kind of switch between them. If I link an account to a Steam profile, then switch Steam profiles, can I then link that new Steam profile to a new Palia account? Like, does Palia check what Steam account is logged in, and reference that save file on their servers, so you could theoretically play a hundred different accounts on the same computer, without issue?
And like, if my wife links her Palia account to her Steam account and play on one computer, then she goes to a different computer, and uses her Steam account to play Palia, will it load her up with all the stuff she already got?
I just want to make sure, because I don't want to make a Palia account link with my wife's Steam account on my son's computer, if it's going to mess everything up.
Hopefully that makes sense, if not, ask a clarifying question.

It's one Palia account per Steam account. It doesn't matter which PC you are using as long as you are logged into your Steam account.
