Yea, I know I posted that earlier. I figured it works the same way as with creatures, that you hit them once and the game considers it your kill even if you didn't. That's how I hit around 500 on average, but never close to 1K especially not 1.5 which I saw yesterday.
Ah yes, that is what I witnessed too and like you said, it kept happening and it wasn't a network lag on their behalf, but literal cheats. I've noticed the exact same thing.
Nope, it doesn't work for me and I gave up on it. I aim well enough to get them without having to spam and my eyes have gotten used to the invisible wolves as well.
