It's a style of playing Hotpot where you just go as quickly as possible without caring about who wins in order to farm as fast as possible.
Players usually say they're gonna have a fastpot game in the back or whatever table they're at.
I usually play it fast but care to win, just gotta think fast when it's your turn.
I find it to be more challenging and more fun to play it this way. Worst thing I know is the slow players who take ages to finish their turn.
Seems like it takes fun out of other players then...
i tend to grab a table up front before it all starts and answer no when asked if any wants to play it. we tend to congregate there for regular games.
If people want to spam a button for a mini-game, suggest a Hungry Hungry Hippo type of feature. 🤣
Good old time.... 🙄
for one thing, most users usually ANNOUNCE that they'll be playing spampot, because they would rather play with three other in-game people also playing spampot since it goes faster. no one is going to criticize you for how YOU wanna play hotpot, its just time consuming to get coins.
also, why go to a spampot table and then complain? if someone calls out they're gonna do spam, maybe just dont go to that table? i saw other people saying, "it ruins the fun for other players!!" well, lets break this down. firstly, if someone does end up playing regular hotpot at a spam table, they're most likely gonna get the two coins, because they're playing. so what's the problem with that? not to mention, if you REALLY dont wanna play, you can just leave the table prematurely, or right after that game is up with that table. like no one is forcing y'all.
another thing, is i have played regular games of hotpot. sometimes they go to round 21. i spoke to someone else who said they're game went to ROUND 26. and i'm pretty sure i saw someone else say theirs went to 30...
nonetheless, regular games of hotpot can get long. now, if you've ever played a game of SPAMpot, you probably noticed that the game ends around round 16, sometimes a little bit later at round 18. why would the game of hotpot, when ONLY playing spampot, automatically end the game at round 16-18 if that wasn't how you were supposed to play the game? now, if this really is a bug, or the dev's just didn't think this through, then why are we blaming people who play spambot and not the people who should be fixing it? but i digress.
lastly, as someone who frequently plays spampot and also loves the classic game of hotpot, just PLEASE be respectful. i know its hard when a spampot player yells at you for just playing normally. NOT ALL OF US ARE JERKS. i do not care if someone wants to play regular hotpot at my table, just as long as they will not yell at me for playing spampot.
i even saw some people complaining that other users were playing spampot, AT A DIFFERENT TABLE. it's ridiculous.
