Where's the SNOW???

It's looks like late fall or early spring to me.

I'm just going to say it, I'm disappointed that the world of Palia isn't COVERED in snow, including my home plot. My home plot is in a forever summer capsule and it's honestly lame.

Yes, I can buy snow patches, but the vibe on my plot is still Summer...

There are snow patches, but it comes off as lazy to me. Like someone opened a map editor, brushed some white patches down, and called it a night.

like, give me the SNOW! gray, snowy skies, thick clouds, snow banks on the side of sidewalks and pathways, bare trees with snow on the branches (not fall coloured trees....)

Maybe the critters can leave footprints in the snow covered grass (snow covered, not snow patches)

The fact that it's mixed with the fall foliage / leaves on the ground still looks weird to me.

I'm hoping the end of month patch fully changes things to winter but it's S6 so who knows.

Hey, I'll say that at least they listened. With this studio it's a no to almost any feedback. Last year we had no fall or winter foliage, snow, etc. It looked like summer with leaf/snow piles, like your plot looks right now lmao.
Aren't they selling a fall plot? at this point I expect them to sell a winter plot. Basic ass ♥♥♥♥ that should be free is monetized in this game so expect the worst.

That's what I'm hoping for too. Can't say I like the Fall stuff mixed in with the snow patches.

I would LOVE a winter plot! It's going to feel weird to set up all the festive Christmas like decorations, without snow...on a summer plot.

It's really too bad that they're not open to more feedback. Now I'm definitely less inclined to spend any real life money on the game.

Based on their posts / announcements with Zeki... Looks like keeping the fall stuff in was unintentional.

I agree I'm incredibly disappointed. I defend this game like crazy but like how are you gonna talk about a big seasonal update and then add no snow? ya there are small patches but thats one, not really how snow works and two, ugly. its not beautiful and seasonal its ugly and half-assed and I'm sad. It would have been better to leave it green and maybe give people the option to add aesthetic frost to their screens edge or something. idk :(

someone should tell s6 that they can promote the fps-boost with everything snowwhite as a successful optimization on their end^^

sadly the snow you can buy for your plot misses something like the flat leafs, just to place there to have it white.

Where I live, we'll get 6 feet of snow, then it will all be melted in 3 days, leaving patches like you see in my screenshot (in the shade of trees and houses, but everywhere else is melted).

Then it won't snow again for a few weeks, and the cycle continues until summer (yes, it snows even through spring).

I don't think I'd want to live in an area that has a foot of snow on the ground for months on end.
