It kinda bugs me the way they say "As we continue expanding the world of Palia" and "as we ramp up toward the launch of Elderwood and beyond" completely avoiding and ignoring the fact that the game is still very unfinished. A beta game isn't "expanded" it's "completed." I've never seen a dev work so hard to pretend they aren't in beta, and it fascinates me.
I'm hoping it's the latter, and I'm also hoping we can bring our friends with us, instead of solo-only adventure zones. Repeatable content is something this game really needs.
This is Steam, the very platform that invented Early Access. Making a half-finished tech demo and then perpetually adding content and no polish until the money dries up is the standard operating procedure for most games these days. It's not an aberration. It's the expectation.
Plus this also feels like they're bleeding people fast and are trying to be like "wait look at these shiny things please stay!"
Last time mentioned: March
How long does it take to add a brightness slider or a text slider? They seem to have no problem increasing text size randomly every other patch for the sake of the Switch, but letting us choose between 3 sizes is too hard?
Oh boy look, a grammar nazi. Well excuse me "should have".
I legitimately have no idea what you're trying to say or insinuate here... :/
Are you trying to say that if we give them more money they'll finally follow through on promises made ages ago?
Or was this an admittance that maybe S6 had pulled the wool over yours eyes and you're starting to see that?
But "It's a free game", "No one is forcing you to spend money".
