Palia

What material yields the most in palia?
I'm struggling to make money on Palia, all the time. Even the vegetable garden that brings in 9000 is gone in 10 minutes.

I would like to know which materials sell for the most money at the bazaar. I can now mine Palium, but from what I see on the wiki, if the ingot can be bought for 500 in Hodari, this thing must worth nothing at all. Seriously, what are the materials that bring in the most money and that can be obtained in bulk?

Seriously, when I make harvests of 1000 wood, stones, clay etc, the whole thing goes in 2 hours if I do crafting.

It would be nice to be able to make a good regular income in this game.

If you want to buy repair kits, modifications, furniture, and so on, you're always at a loss for everything IG. And it's sad because everything else in the game is amazing.

Thank in advance.

Once you have them unlocked, preserves stations and starred ingredients can net you a stable income because all you have to do is feed the machines.

Okay, but harvest a good number of them take a fkcn time, so i don't understand how have a good income a little much faster.

I feel like I can't enjoy the game because of the obligation (and the slowness) of having to fill my inventory and chest all the time.

I find that the ratio of "harvest to sale" and "enjoying the adventure" is not good.
In real time, I mean.

What game, there is no game, this isn't a game, it's a second job. lol

They are so obsessed with everything being balanced between all the skills, etc. that there is no good way to actually make money, they all suck and are nothing but a giant grind fest. So it just comes down to which method is the least manually grindy to do.

If you follow the mainquest and need to fill "the wall" you will get so many fishes while you try to get the one you needs... it will make you rich as bill gates.

And yeah thats the great thing for me on palia, you dont get anything in an instant or in like 2 days of playing. There is no pressure at all to get money fast or anything like this. Because there is no rush to complete anything, cus...why? There is no "endgame" content you need to reach as a world first.

Just buy all farming plots, plant veggies, get the preserves stations, farm fish and grab everything you can while running around.

Yeah, I found that the slow progression is a good point too, but, I don't want to play only doing harvest... I mean, The whole thing can take two days, and then I can play "normally" (i mean doing something else) for like 1-2 hours ?

That's really nice that the game is difficult, but it's a little bit too long. I love this game, and that's why I'm frustrated, spending 95% of my game time mining, I don't find this entertaining.

Anyway, I'll return mine Palium for 2 days, then craft the materials for 2 days more, and then I will be allowed to play the game without pression for 2 hours.
I dont like too easy games, but I think the concept is taken a little too far here.

And that's sad, bc video games must have an a balanced and progressive difficulty, you're not supposed to struggle from the beginning. But that's just my opinion.

You're not supposed to be buying all that stuff. You should be making it yourself. Repair kits especially (and even then, just take a trip to Siffu's anvil for repairs instead).

The only reason that stuff is for sale is something to spend your money on when there's nothing left to spend it on.

Whe can repair tools on Siffu's anvil without repairs kits ? I don't have the recipes to craft them now, maybe I must go on the wiki to know more about this.

Yeah but in fact I just want to buy a particular serie of furniture i can't craft actually for my home. And in addition to that, I buy repairs kits and ingots a lot of time bc my tools "broke" often. And the seeds for the garden.

Is that a lot of things I'm buying you think ?

Woaw, I've never been in game in this situation, saying to myself "I will sent all my money left for not so necessary stuff"... I always need money. Maybe I'm too excited about the idea of decorating and modifying my furniture. IDK

As you level furniture making, you'll eventually get to the point where you can make everything in the game. There's nothing wrong with buying a piece here and there to fill out your collection, but you should be making the majority yourself.

You get the recipe for repair kits the first time you upgrade a tool, so you should already have it. You should never have to remake your tools.

As soon as you get level 2 in gardening you can buy a seed collector. You place your crops in it and it produces seeds (more seeds than you spend, so it's always a net gain). You have to buy (or find) the seeds to begin with, but once you have a single plant you can make more seeds.

Harvest a crop of mixed plants (mix so they give bonuses to each other), put those in seed makers, make more plants, get all the moneys. The seed collectors produce seeds at a 4 seeds to 1 crop ratio for most plants, so a single harvest of say 3 carrots becomes 12 seeds which become 36 carrots and etc. If you get star crops, those will make star seeds, which will give all star crops in the future.

I did not even know that you could buy repair kits, I always crafted them, you get the recipe for them once you craft your first standard/copper level tool, so if you have tools which break, you can make them.

At a point I started always using Sifuu's anvil to repair as the gold cost is minimal compared to the resource gathering time required to craft the repair kits I need to keep them up. Outside of the rare-ish Palium Ore, nothing in the game is really stopping you. The best money is to get all 9 farming plots, grow a variety of crops, seed maker enough to grow another round, sell the rest or cook it.

Celebration Cakes used to give a lot of money but that sadly got nerfed. They are still okay but in terms of effort and time for profit, honestly, fill your farm plots and cycle them for massive gains. Try to not sell your last crops, always make more seeds. The initial first-round profit is not great if you use purchased seeds, but since they grow at a rate of 12 to 1, the second and further rounds become extremely valuable.

Okay, I've crafted it already so,
Thank it helped :)

I've already optimize my garden in that aim, it costs me about 2000 and brings me 9000 (without using the seed collector, and only with the basic seeds), I've made it by myself, instead of copying examples from the Internet, but idk if it's a lot optimize compared to the best we can do^^^

Okay, it was the reverse for me ^^

I see, I only have 7 plots for the moment. Okay, I'll try ^^
