Resolution/Full screen bug?

Hi! Does anyone have a problem trying to go full screen? my monitor is 1920x1080 and it keeps setting at 3840x2160, so it kinda goes laggy. When I want to apply the changes, only half of the game is visible on the screen, so i gotta switch to discord or google and then prees palia to enter the game, but i press apply changes it does still in 3840x2160, so i'm not being able to change my resolution.

open GameUserSettings.ini
search for

ResolutionSizeX=1920 (maybe you have 3840 here and need to change it)
ResolutionSizeY=1080 (maybe you have 2160 here and need to change it)

sadly it does not work, it shows ResolutionSizeX=1920 & ResolutionSizeY=1080 but in game is still on 3840x2160, but thank you!!

Me and my gf have the same problem. ResolutionSizeX=1920 in the file but 4k ingame

I heard someone in game stating they used Nvidia Gforce experience to optimize the game and it worked. I do not have the issue, so I can't say if this will help.

i had the same problem. in Palia go to settings, graphic settings & then bottom left apply windows setting. When i did that it was fixed.

try to install Palia again, i did it on my main disc (C:) and i did optimize in nvidia geforce experience as PACKNHEAT said, that's what i did and it works!

Did you ever get it fixed? I got this issue today and the only thing that makes the game decently playable is dropping my graphics all the way down in windowed mode

nope, i still get trouble with the resolution :( what i do is setting my resolution and everything and then press alt + enter, and then just use de windowed mode bc full screen goes wild with the big resolution, hope it helps, sometimes works and sometimes does not work lol, i wish the devs fix this soon bc i love this game but sometimes it's impossible to play with the delay/lag and that stuff :(

same for me with WQHD as native. but i honestly think it just shows its 4k, but actually isnt. since once i then really apply 4k i barely can see anything as its to big for my screen. even if my screen is known to handle 4k very well and in some kind of "native mode" even if its a WQHD one.

Similar issue - went to launch the game today and the entire screen froze, couldn't move my mouse, etc.
Super frustrating to even EXIT the game - it made my entire computer freeze

Although months have passed, I still have this problem.

You can't change the resolution of the game, it always reverts to 4k.

me too... when i get on palia i just change resolution then press alt enter and then esc and it runs better, but sometimes bugs triggers the resolution and they still don't work on that but they added new premium stuff, lol. palia is such a great game but it's sooo buggy :(
