WILD TREES GLITCH [SOLVED]

SOLUTION [1]

1) Look at the trees for a few minutes (5-10 min) from a place where you can see all the trees you have planted (they must be mature trees)

2) If this process did not update the task, try the 2nd solution.


SOLUTION [2]

1) If you have an apple tree at home, remove it (the task was completed when I removed the apple tree and did the following things)

2) Cut down or put into storage your mature wild trees

3) Plant new trees and water them

4) Wait for the trees to grow

5) Look at the trees for a few minutes (5-10 min) from a place where you can see all the trees you have planted

6) If the quest is updated and shows a missing number like 4/5, you can plant a mature tree that you put in your chest and the quest will be completed. If you do not have a mature tree in your chest, you can plant and grow a new one.

I completed it. I replanted 5 seeds and water them. DON'T LEAVE BE DEVOTED UNTIL IT GROWS AND COMPLETE THE QUEST.

I finally completed the quest. I gave up on the trees I had planted for the quest and instead planted five new ones. After watering them, I stood in front of the five trees and left the character there. When it was 6 in the morning, I watered them for the second time and waited in the same spot. When it was time to water them for the third time, the quest was completed. I'm so happy that I was able to complete the quest thanks to that!

Thank you so much, this helped a lot and I was finally able to complete the quest! :) what worked for me was 1. remove all trees i have planted so far and store them away for the moment being, 2. plant five new trees, 3. water the trees, 4. simply stand in front of them and wait for around half an hour without moving.

and its dumb something like this blocks the other quest im trying to finish where u have to wait for the order. I just wanna play the game.

same, i have removed all trees and bushes on plot and planted 5 wild tree seeds again for the third time, patiently waited for them to grow without going out of my housing plot, sadly it didn't work. what a waste of time (3 hours in real-time)

EDIT: i wrote this reply when my trees were all adult trees (stage 1-2, i guess there are 3 stages). Then somehow I just completed this quest and noticed that you must plant OAK TREES in order to complete the quest. I planted 4 oak trees and 1 birch tree, and stood still or hung around my housing plot. Then the quest updated 4/5 :O , so again i put out another mature birch tree in my inventory and BOOM!!! The quest is completed @@

Yeeeeah. Didn't work for me at all... gonna try those 5 oaktree thing...

Edit: Placed 5 Oaktrees as well. They did not fully grow but others did meanwhile and the quest clocked in.

Maybe its just some sort of hickups

This is still not working for me ): I just placed 5 mature oak trees (i have grown a mix of like 5-10 birch and oak before) and now i am planting entirely new only oak trees so hopefully this fixes it...

OMG! I JUST COMPLETED THIS QUEST! THXXXXX ❤️❤️❤️

Okay, here's what I was doing:

1. I had an apple tree on my plot, so I had to wait for the harvest to appear (the tree blooms 3 times) so that the apple tree would disappear. I was unable to remove the tree from the plot in any other way.

2. Then I restarted the game, went out and went back to the plot (just in case ;))

3. Then I planted 5 trees - it was an OAK, watered them and started waiting. I didn’t leave the plot, most of the time I stood stupidly near the trees and looked at them. That’s how the first day passed in the game, and then I watered the seeds the second time. After that, I ran around the plot, cooking, making furniture and all that, BUT I didn't leave the plot. And when it was time for the third watering (I always watered at 6 AM), the trees grew, and the quest was over!!!

It took me 3 hours of real time to complete this quest, but I'm sooo happy!

So after SEVERAL trees later I read the thing about the oak trees and planted like 8 oak trees.
Well after sitting for an hour on my plot i grew impatient and started putting down trees i had already grown and out of 4 it randomly counted one. so i picked them all back up and put them back down and it counted 2 the next time XD so I just kept doing that until it counted.
So maybe just keep picking them up and putting them back down and it might work eventually.
This is dumb XD But im glad it finished.

It took me 2 days (IRL) to find this solution and I'm sure this is the solution. Friends who cannot do it, try to follow the steps given by friends who have completed the task in the comments, maybe it will help.

I removed all trees/flowers/plants from property, planted 5 acorns, watered them sat on bench facing trees, then @ 6am watered them again and when they popped up from the ground quest completed!! THANK YOU!!

None of the above have worked for me so hopefully they do a patch for it as soon as possible since you can’t progress in the game without completing the prove your devotion quest :(
