These are the same devs that can't figure out how to delete the giant Frogbert. You actually think they can program something that sophisticated? You have more faith in them than I do.
OR
They did the easiest solution and made it so palium has the same random % chance to spawn at every single node.
If I was a game dev, I know which solution I would pick.

As you can see, I even stopped to do the grove, and also to catch the bugs that drop silk (I even found a dari clove).
yeah seems like there are differrent opinions, people have differrent experiences
and i dont have a conclusive opinion
but hey, i dont even play the game but you guys have fun ;)
And like it was mentioned: mine, mine, mine, everything. Things respawn as you go. Same go with trees. I saw one guy chopping every tree in one grid and soon after, there were 4-5 flow trees there.
