Palia
mining question
is there some logic to the mining node spawns?
did i miss a tutorial about it maybe?
in the past days i kept running into iron and palladium nodes
now that i finally have iron equipment i can run in search for them for hours without any luck
checking all the locations i found them before

I got to level 30+ mining so I did it a bit. Nodes tend to spawn in one region at a time. You just gotta run through the maps until you find the area with lots in. 80% of the map will be virtually devoid of them and one area will have abundant spawns. If you are in an area and there is just one here and another way over there then ignore them and keep looking for the prolific area. It's there somewhere.

It’s more so just luck with what server you get put on. If you’re running around barely seeing any ores, try fast traveling to your home plot and then back to bahari that way it puts you on a new server. I’m not sure exactly how/when the ores respawn but this is the technique I use.

The way to get Palium to spawn more is to mine the iron and stone when you see it. No logic, it just respawns when something else is mined. Sounds like when you couldn't mine it you were on servers with a lot of players mining and since then you have been on almost empty servers or servers where the players are doing more of other tasks than mining. As Insanity says, if you run around a while and see hardly any, change to another server.

yeah thx for the replys
but i made up my conclusion about the topic
the ressource nodes are too rare and random
searching for extended periods of time
for a chance of basic low tier ressources is exhausting and tiring
im not gonna play this anymore
but if the devs want to keep more new players
take my experience as a hint

Palium aka. basic low tier resource

Good one

1. i said iron and palladium
copper is 1. iron is 2nd tier palladium is 3rd tier
if the game doesnt have more tiers of equipment thats unimpressive and doesnt change that you start to mine it shortly after picking up the game
how long did it take? 1-3hours?
anyway
first day ressource is low tier to me

i found a good bunch when i had standard or copper tool,
tried to get the iron tool to mine it asap
from that point on i got 1 to zero node per day
first day mining it i was searching for it about 2 hours
then maybe 3 days i was already losing interest and only did rounds maybe 30 minutes each
they are visible
but sometimes i was sure to see one a bit away and when i got there it was gone

Exactly. Stop being lazy and mine all the nodes you see. I can easily get 100+ palium every time I go out mining. Because I'm not lazy.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

What you are all suggesting is called "cherry picking" and it's the reason you can't find any palium nodes. If everyone in the game only mines the palium nodes, and iron or stone respawn in their place, there aren't any more palium nodes.

Like I said, stop being lazy and mine every node.

Nope. Palium nodes can spawn anywhere at any time. The only reason you see a lot in one area is because someone just came through and mined all the iron and stone, and palium spawned in their place.

yeah i did mine every node i find
except the occasional single small rock in a remote area
so, if people in region chat are talking about PAL
they were referring to the nodes i was looking for?
i guess that explains alot
it seemed to me as if they were talking about some endgame coop content i dontt need to pay attention to yet and went other areas instead
i guess thats the biggest mistake and i literally avoided them if thats the case

and yeah i got lazy after a while because it simply didnt seem to be worth the time
if you keep doing the same and expecting a differrent outcome
thats what Einstein for example is said to have called insane
not lazy
if i knew what to do i would have done exactly that until i get what i want
anyway it seems there is not that easy straight answer to my question
with the knowledge and tips you people provided here i would have get better results and had more patience im sure
but in the end its not the type of game i feel want to play
searching for a needle in the hay for some ressource thats apparrently high value but seems rather basic to me, dunno how to put it but it just doesnt seem that exiting to me
love the community tho you peeps are nice

this seems to be the most forward tip and sounds perfectly reasonable to me
