After finding some time this evening, I think I figured it out
Basically, Palia (since patch 0.179) is actually using my CPUs "Integrated AMD Radeon Graphics" (I'm using a 7600x, They have built in GPUs, like older APUs do)
It is *NOT* using my RX 7800 XT as it was before this patch. 0% GPU usage on my *actual* dedicated card.
So the question is.... does this need to be patched? Or is their a setting we can change to use the proper GPU?
Hope this helps guys. Would love to hear about about any solutions.
*UPDATE*
Def needs to be patched, not sure why the game is suddenly defaulting to the wrong GPU after months of working just fine.
*SOLUTION*
Add this line to Engine.ini file:
[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.GraphicsAdapter=0
If you need help to find this file, generally speaking, this will point you in the right direction (not 100% it's accurate for everyone)
For Windows Users:
%AppData% (this will bring you to the appdata folder quickly)
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Palia\Saved\Config\WindowsClient
For Linux Users:
/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/<random#> /pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Palia/Saved/Config/WindowsClient
Bonus Bonus Notes:
You *may* need to make the file 'read only' if it keeps changing itself back.
(if the problem continues to reemerge between sessions)
