I think most common suggestions were to reinstall the game, to install it in the default folder given to you when installing, to check your AV or firewall and/or to update or do a fresh installation of your GPU drivers.
But that's when this UE crash happened upon launching the game I think. It could be something different now when it only occurs way later when visiting places. So I could be talking total nonsense now.
(Or I'm mixing solutions for another relatively common issue which is when you get stuck on or crash back to your desktop while seeing that colorful Palia splash screen. Dunno too well anymore.)
