Bug Cooking at stove. Help Please... :-)

I have a bug only at my stove when it asks me to flip the meal... I have tried every key on the keyboard to flip the meal and nothing doing, I am unable to flip it. I have tried - Left & right mouse buttons, enter, space bar and in desperation every other key, but nothing doing. What am I doing wrong? This has been months now that I have been trying to do the "Your Order is Served" quest and am unable to do it as I play alone. I am older and struggle to know how to find friends that will play with me in my timezone (NZST) and will cook with me to circumvent this issue. I am able to do all the other cooking functions and have the items. I am at the point where I am so frustrated that I am ready to give up my favorite pastime playing Palia, please help.

I play on steamdeck so for me it is the Button A or L2. I don't know what keybinding it is on MNK but you have not to press it, you start and hold the button until you enter the empty circle then you let go.

Hold down the left mouse button and you'll see the little dot going around in a circle.

If this is indeed the circle one that others mention then you need to quickly click LMB to start it moving and immediately hold LMB pressed it as it circles and then release it in the target.

I play on NZST and an older player as well. Happy to friend you and that way we can help each other when needed. I tend to be a solo player as well but nice to have a friend or two and help out and get help when needed.

I have cooked fried dumplings many times, and I was sure that I just needed to click, but then it just stopped working for me, I thought I had caught a bug, but it turns out you need to hold the button, I can’t imagine how it worked before, thank you very much.

I too have difficulty mixing and flipping.. For mixing, if I depress the left mouse button too soon, I need to release and reinitiate or the mixing won't actually start sometimes.. For flipping, I noticed sometimes it takes me into the interaction sequence automatically, other times I have to look at it and hit "F" to go into the interaction sequence.. and in some rare cases, the interaction sequence is already moving/rotating the ball around the wheel without any mouse button depressed. Should this happen, when I hit the left mouse button, it doesn't register the same way.

However, should you have a normal interaction, and just click the mouse button, your flip will fail because you have to hold the mouse button until the ball enters the circular area.. release the mouse button when the ball is in this area for a successful flip.

Also important to mention that some recipes will call for multiple flips. I've lost the x3 quantity output a few times because I miss a flip in the middle and end up with x2 instead..
