At least they know about that "launching problem" :)
I don't have a problem with MC visual C++. My game just not launch when I click Play and nor error code show up neither.
I have contact Singularity 6 about this issue and they provide me tons of method. I'll show their conversations between my case below here (only solution methods):

- Hello ba*****,
Thanks for getting back to us along with the dxdiag and Palia logs. While we check on this, do you have a screenshot of the error that you encountered when accessing the game? If so, kindly send us a copy. Thanks!
I'll keep an eye out for your update.

- Results: They still need my screenshot of error code after received all my game and PC information. So, I assumed this method is not worked either. I also gave them a screen record to show them that when I click Play, the game is not shows up and back to click Play again. And here is a 2nd reply below:

- Hello again!
Thank you so much for providing an update and for sending the video recording. To resolve this issue, kindly try to do a clean uninstallation of Palia before reinstalling it. Please follow these steps:
1. Close Palia and Related Processes: Before starting the uninstallation, ensure that Palia and all its related processes are completely closed. This includes Palia game, the launcher, and any background processes associated with Palia.
• Close the Palia Game: If Palia is currently running, click the "Exit" or "Quit" option within the game's menu. This will safely close the Palia game client.
• End Palia Processes in Task Manager: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc or Ctrl + Alt + Delete and select "Task Manager" to open the Task Manager window. Click "More Details" to see the Tabs. Under the "Processes" tab, locate and select any Palia-related processes (e.g., Palia.exe) and click "End Task." This ensures that any background processes associated with Palia are terminated.
2. Uninstall Palia: There are various ways you can uninstall Palia through several methods for removing Palia in the Windows 11, and Windows 10 operating system. You can follow the guide below or go to the Official Microsoft Uninstall Guide.
• Uninstall from the Settings page: Select Start, then Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Find Palia in the list, select it, and click Uninstall.
• Uninstall from the Control Panel: Type Control Panel in the search box on the taskbar, select it, then go to Programs > Programs and Features. Find Palia, right-click, and choose Uninstall or Uninstall/Change. Follow the on-screen directions.
3. Delete Remaining Palia Files: After uninstallation, it's recommended to delete any residual Palia files and folders to ensure a clean slate for a fresh installation. Navigate to the following location below and Delete the entire Palia folder.
C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Palia
Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
Regards,
Reese

I play this game like 200+ hours since they opened it on Steam and never have this problem before until Patch 0.179.
That's exactly that we were talking about. That morning I was on the game when they closed for maintenance. The computer stay on, without anything else was done on it, the patch was released and then, nothing. Like Rottenbat, I have no problem with my VS Librairies.
And Dragonhearrtsky - you don't have to apologize, you were trying to help. :)
I mean I installed Unreal engine 5.4.3 and the exact same thing happens to me as in Palia and Pine Harbor Demo. You hit "Play", it tries to load and it closes immediately.
With other games I don't have any problems and with versions older than 5.4 Unreal Engine I don't have any problems.
I've been checking the 0.179 patch notes but I don't see anything, which surprises me because I think the problem may be there...
The fact is that until patch 0.179 we had no problems and now we do...
I hope they fix it soon, if not when I can I will buy a more current CPU.
My current CPU is AMD Phenom II X6 1100T BE (yes, it is very old but still has excellent performance with 16GB RAM).
Edit: It will keep me busy with something at least haha.
Edit 2: I found conteradictory informations, Palia is listed in Unreal 5 version... hummm
I have the same PC spec like you but I think if the dev have updated the engine they should have inform us, not letting us facing the issue alone. I don't mind on upgrade my PC I just want a clear information :/
P.S. I apologize in advance if I do misunderstood the devs in a wrong way.
Interesting information. Now I talk with the dev since they've suggested me to run the game directly without Steam and it's failed. I tried it and it still forced me to run by Steam automatically. So I offered the dev if I uninstall it from Steam and use their client from their site directly instead and they said:

Hello again!
Thanks for confirming. Yes, you can try to reinstall and play the game using the Palia client instead of Steam. This would help us narrow down the cause of the issue. Here's the link: https://accounts.palia.com/account/download
We appreciate your cooperation on this matter. I'll keep an eye out for your update. Thanks!

I think I'm helping the dev now...lol
Welp, If there's anything with this experiment, I will update you guys asap.
Trying to launch directly with Palia client also not work. I run it as administrator or even win 8 option, it's still nothing.
Thanks for your effort Rottenbat, it's greatly appreciated. Even if it fail. (Their solutions)
For what I knew by reading bugs report on here, I think he may really be related to the change of the game engine slightly. Of course when you "patch" a game with a 10gig patch, you should expect that you will get bugs. They could have done it progressively instead.
Here is the link from when my suspicions were directed at the game engine:
https://forums.unrealengine.com/t/uefn-wont-launch-opens-and-then-closes-immediately/1767171
Exactly the same thing that happens with Palia and other games with Unreal Engine.
I think at this point there are only two alternatives. Either Palia returns to the version of the Unreal Engine that it used in patch 0.178 or Epic fixes it (I doubt that Epic will support older CPUs)
I hope Palia returns to the previous version of Unreal. I don't know if the change is due to the fact that the version used until now had many problems and they have updated to resolve them.
This morning I tested my RTX 3080 on my girlfriend's PC (4th generation i5) and Palia and Pine Harbor worked perfectly
The differences I see between both processors (instructions)
i5 (3330): SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX2
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T: MMX, Extended 3DNow!, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4a and AMD64.
I have searched in detail for the changes of each version of Unreal Engine but I have not found anything...
We are waiting for the information you give us Rottenbat!
I noticed when I looked at my game properties that the last update listed was from April 23rd.
So I ran a "validate all files" process, and after that completed, the game went into patch mode. It had not done any patching prior to this when logging into Steam, even though I have automatic updates enabled.
After the patch completed i am able to log in on my PC with no issues and the game seems to be running normally.
I am guessing that for some reason the latest patch is not being applied, and the validation process forced it to run?
Just my speculation.
At least before it only collapsed in the Water Temple, now I can't even play.... SIGH!
