More farming plots?
Just 9 farming plots in such a huge empty space of a base... Dude... Come on. At max size the house takes less than 1/3 of the map. Thx for the empty space but no thank you. Ill be back in Stardew will check back in 5 6 years maybe there will be more than 3 types of ore and 9 crop plots.

Some more WOULD be nice, but I get if they don't want to totally break the game.

Honestly, I would much rather have the ability to use sprinklers, or at the very least, make it so plants are watered INSTANTLY instead of holding the button for 5 seconds. Gardening is so tedious, and using seed buffs greatly reduces the amount your preferred crop yields.

Yeah I agree... I don't plan on making a Huge Farm Estate... I want like 5 times as much farm space...

Not going to happen. Nine plots is all we get

its a matter of balance and i think devs do right by this one, with 5 times the farming making money would be to easy.

having something to strive for is what keeps people ingame, making it to easy will make people leave earlier. simple as that

With that much farm land, I don't think you could even manage it all in just one in-game day.

This is highly likely to change when they add more farming/creating options to be fair, and has been a large complaint of the game since it came into OB. There's been discussions about animals etc too. Can't imagine they can keep it at 9 when trees alone take up a whole spot.
I am not at 9 farms myself yet only 5 but I feel 9 is plenty, although as mentioned above some kind of sprinkler system would be nice, even if it required filling daily to balance it. What I would like however is if the farm crafting things like seed maker/worm makers had their own counter separate to the other crafters, similar to how the cooking utensils are separate, nothing crazy just one of each with no count would be nice.

Honestly I think they should give you more once you've hit rank 10 they should let us buy 3 more with the coins you get after rank 10, it wouldn't break the amount of cash we could earn and it won't take forever to fill the extra 3 plots. I would just like to see this game show that they value our time and give us more as we get more into the game.
Apple trees are slow and take up tons of space, just 18 plots would be plenty

With 9 plots and preserve jars you already have a pretty decent money printer. With more plots, you'd reach the 300.000 gold limit pretty easy on a daily basis... So yes, more plots would really destroy any kind of balance, especially in middle to late game...

its enough.. after a while farming / is gone..

Look up palia home tours. Plenty of people fill the space!

Not shade though. If decorating isn't your thing I understand.

If the devs increase garden plots, they would decrease the sale prices, to keep to their balance. Players would end up doing more work, having less time to do other things, for the same profit. They've added trees and flowers and will probably continue to add landscape decor.

They said a long time ago they wouldn't change it. I quit because of it after playing closed beta and beyond. I recently saw they added trees and flowers and thought they meant Orchard type trees. Guess not. I'm a hardcore SDV player and I love filling up my space with crops/fruit trees/flowers. I'm not a house decorator and that is never my priority in these type of games. However, the game targeted people like me and then made it so we couldn't play the way we wanted. This was a deal breaker for me before and just realizing they didn't change a damn thing with the crops may make me leave again.

I'm with you on this. This game was targeted at people like you and I (farming sim fans), but didn't allow us to play in a meaningful way to us. PS: They said in AMA a while back they will not be changing the crop plots. It was one of the biggest complaints on discord, complaints in testing and complaints on reddit. Obviously they don't care.
