Unable to Catch Bugs/Insect?

I have my Belt loaded with Smoke Bombs but when I left click my mouse there is no reaction, nothing happens. Maybe there is a different key/action I should be using for the mouse/pc/keyboard. Thank you.

Umm... Yeah. Could well be a bug. Hard to interpret precisely what you are or are not doing.
Have you used R to select your belt?
Are you holding the LMB to ready and aim the bomb and then firing it on release or just pressing the LMB once and it doing nothing?

Thanks Tatiana, Just one more question. The LBM button is located on your keyboard, it is not referring to your actual mouse left click? It looks like I have an outdated keyboard that does not have the LMB. I guess I'll be looking for a new keyboard or playing a different game. Thanks again for your help.

Try going into keybindings and seeing what they say. I have mine set F1 to F7 for all my tools.
Also if you by chance hit a item in your inventory and it is popped up, like say something in row 5 inventory box/slot 2 is popped up/in use than you cannot hit with axe, throw bug bombs, use pickaxe etc. Check to make sure that is not the case.
If thats is not the issue, than try clicking i or m, than click i or m again to go back and try throwing again. Post back if any of that helped, and send in a bug report

In this particular case: LMB = Left Mouse Button = Left-Click

Other games that mention LMB sometimes are referring to buttons on the side/top of gaming mice, but not in this case.

I've had this happen a lot, usually have to R radial menu the belt, then right mouse to select the bomb type you want. Sometimes that works, sometimes it does, then you need to mouse wheel to a different hotbar menu, re-equip the belt and then use the hot bar to select the bomb type.

With the amount of bugs in the game they might as well go back to calling it an alpha.
