One of my quests state that I need to fulfil a player request but the requests always show up as expired and greyed out (despite if I have the requested item in my inventory). Any solutions so I can complete this quest? Thanks!!

Do you have auto clock updating turned off and the time/date changed? Quite a few Switch players had this problem from cheesing some time based mechanic in another game.

nvm there is no way to change this at all in game on PC...any other suggestions?

Best bet is to ask someone to make a new request that you can fill.

You're probably seeing old requests that have expired (hence, them saying expired and being grayed out).

Starred items can't be used so you may not actually have the item that's being requested. Been too many times when people request seeds and I have so many starred seeds and none of it usable.

mine wont lett me fullfill someone request the moment somone send a reqest it say to me it expired and no website has a explanation on how to fix it on on switch

Make sure the date and time are correct on your switch, that should work. It is expired because the date and time are off (possibly for another game like animal crossing haha)

Mine is doing the same on PC. My date and time is correct on my main screen. I don't know why it's happening but I'll just file a report ig. If anyone has figured it out, please let me know because I cannot move forward in the game now.

I ended up fixing this. Right click on the time and date at the bottom of your computer screen, click “adjust date and time” and turn on “set time zone automatically”. I can’t remember but I think that fixed it. Hope that helps!!
