Anyone else having trouble completing the Temple of Flames achievement that says to read all the relics? I just went through the temple again and read them all but the achievement doesn't unlock.

I don't like it when they create achievements for games after i have already played the content.

At least in Palia, the achievements are retro-active, so as long as you log in, you get the achievements you already earned :3

Scholar of the flames & Scholar of the waves achievements aren't popping up for me, no matter how much I go back and forth to re-read the relics

That answers the OP's question. Palia has/had achievements now.

Shouldn't really matter since it's retroactive, any achievements you've already earned in game will reflect on the Steam achievements as well, as Kiki already said.

Pfft, there's no more useless feature in a game than Steam Achievements. I haven't bothered with them in any Steam games I play. They're functionally worthless and not worth the time and effort.

You've got some weird superiority complex going on all through this thread, talk to a therapist

There are in game achievements but not on steam. I don't understand why you wouldn't play a game without steam achievements specifically though. I enjoy unlocking steam achievements, but it's not the deciding factor on whether I play a game or not.

It matters to some people, that's all there is to it?

People like showing off completion, rare trophies, looking back at them like digital souvenirs from good times as memories can be attached to them.

Game seems to have achievements now so, for anyone interested in that sort of thing, I imagine they're happy with the inclusion.
