Where is the Early Access Banner?
Last i played this was in EA. When did it release into 1.0? I thought it was on steam already but I guess they just did March 25th. But as full release?

This is clearly not in a state to be considered a 1.0.

Edit; realized last I played was not on Steam.

Error 404 the banner you are searching for does not exist.

They were warned for months in advance they needed to add it. Then they got a ♥♥♥♥ ton of backlash upon actually releasing, to which they responded with a cute little "oopsy woopsie we made a big booboo sorry friends we have definitely learned from our mistake *this* time aren't we so silly hehe :3"

Q: I forgot to enable Early Access, what do I do?
A: If you already have a Coming Soon page for your product, you can enable Early Access yourself. Your store page will need to be reviewed again prior to release. If your game is already released, then it's not possible for a game to move backwards from "Released" to "Early Access". Steam has different launch visibility, displays, and reviews for when a game starts in Early Access. If you wish to communicate details about your development plans, please use the Community Hub (a pinned post can be very helpful) or consider adding the relevant information to the About The Game display section.

That's quite misleading. They are going to get hit hard on the reviews when people find out differently. I am sure they will get that fixed soon.

Munnky, I'm sorry but you're like 2 weeks behind. The lie was delivered and discovered. They cannot change the status on the Steam store page. The damage has been done. They're already getting slaughtered in the informative, comprehensive, and thorough negative reviews. Lastly, they just laid off a reportedly 49 more employees sometime last week.

Nintendo told them they can't have one, so all we get it a little "beta" on the launcher.
This is why you don't partner with Nintendo - you make something great so they want it, then you dictate the terms to them, never the other way around.

Yeah they didn't tag it as EA or beta, did it with the Switch launch too. The game in truth is barely what I think most would consider beta ready, mostly those who have tested games before. But with all their fans rampantly leaving positive reviews and drowning it out, it's just one more thing S6 has done that is shady getting swept under the rug.

The game has 2 playable areas - Killima and Bahari.
There is a time-locked 3rd area - where the Maji Market takes place, but unless there is an event, that area is not accessible, and walking through the gate area only gives you the Slows until you turn around and walk out - I'd give that an "Alpha" status.

The main quest is incomplete, meaning this cannot go higher than "beta" status at this point, to my way of thinking.

But at the end of the day, it is what it is. Nothing any of us can do to change it, so live with it, deal with it, wait for it - like everybody else. Or don't, that's up to you.

This is why I said it's barely considered beta ready? Like yeah I would totally say Alpha or barely into closed beta. I just worded the way I did, because Larian had only act 1 of BG 3 available in EA and while this did show at launch, the game was still remarkably stable. However, people seem to get cranky when you compare this "beta" to BG 3's early access. At least they do on reddit and the discord.

Also what is the point of the last comment? I'm not actively playing, however, I want to point out the shady ♥♥♥♥ this company has done because we should be loud when we notice developers and publishers pulling this kind of thing. It is what it is, is how we got Skull and Bones and Kill the Justice League.

Ignore that guy, he's out of his mind.

It's awful that even after their 'apology blog' they still haven't addressed this on steam.

And don't believe their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about not knowing they can't opt into early access after the release date. I personally told the CM this two weeks before launch...

Yeah. Sounds like they just wanted the game on Switch before it was ready. A real shame. I had high hopes for it despite the alphas being lackluster.

Yes they should have done EA on Steam in the first place, and not bothered with Switch or Epic. And they should charge for the base game. As a non cosmetic buyer, I literally can't give them money for the game. That's not a great model.

Maybe nothing, but maybe written into their contract with one or more platforms they can't advertised the game in a different stage on another platform. I'm going to take a wild guess and say much of this has to do with their decision to launch on Switch.

If that's true then they blatantly lied to us in their most recent blog post
