Bug for eye of the storm-temple of gales quest

I spoke to Zeki, now on quest "Find something to pick the lock" for the last island. I'm trying to climb up the platforms, but the 2nd climbing bar with the arrows will not let me jump to the top. Looked up videos, they are doing the same thing I am but no issues, it just will not let me get up there. Any way to resolve? I tried restarting the game, took me forever to get back here since it kicks me out of the temple area, and it still didn't work.

Having the same issue- managed to glitch my way up by climbing the side of the ladder, but fell off later and was unable to replicate it. Completely unable to progress now.

sooo i just kept aiming up, avoid jumping and eventually it will glitch you up there, i was only able to do it twice, and there is something on the ground that is the key you need then you dont have to go back up if that helps, literally happened 30 seconds after i posted this too lol

Having the same issue, it wont let me climb over the edge at the top 😥

I was finally able to get up that ladder. I had to go up the side of it instead of the normal front part. You still get stuck at the top, hit the left arrow when you're stuck at the top and it kind of glitches you up and over.

You have to climb from the side/edge of the ladder platform. Took me 107 falls to figure this out, and I kept thinking to the patch notes going "Improved climbing how?".

I've also noted other climbs that were previous pretty simple that are now plagued by falling off instead of climbing.

Bugs happen, I do get it. This one just seems a little.. worse than before.

I tried climbing the side but still unable to do it
UPDATE: I tried Piperbirds way and it worked! I climbed up the side of the ladder then kept pressing A or D or < > arrows depending how you've configured and it just stood me at the top

Same here. I was enjoying the nice and easy mood of this game but this bug is so frustrating.
Edit : Eventually it worked but that was really a pain to climb that stupid ladder time after time for more than one hour

Keep climbing and hit A or D or arrows and it glitches you over. That's how I got past it.

yeah i literally almost ragequit over a ladder lmao but we shall prevail, side ladder didnt work for me, my character just clipped through eventually with me wiggling in the front
