Flares Vs Fireworks

What do people use? I see people call flare all the time, but it's like they use something different from mine.. I feel that when other people use them, they go straight up, but when I try to do it, they arc a lot

oh, that..you shoot at a tree or the stone or whatever u want to highlight..it will shoot upwards automatically..on the right spot..flare n fireworks both

I use flares myself, I think the difference is flares last about a minute and fireworks a few seconds. Fireworks are nice while waiting to chop at groves sometimes.

I use flares and shoot at the ground where the item is I am marking.
