Zeki - is an alien animal so yeah they're not going to go the whole beastiality route.

Auni and Najuma - Both are minors so yeah they're not going there.

Ashura - devoted for life to his one and true love. They could open his character up to romance eventually, but personality I think that would ruin the character a bit.

"But you can romance a Galdur, why not < insert name here >?" This actually ties into current discussions and research on if humans can become emotionally attached / fall in love AI, robots, etc. so it makes sense they would add in this romance line.

I would love to have him added as an option, but I think you're exactly right. It would completely ruin his character. If a guy is still visiting his wife's grave every day, he's not looking for a romance.

Like, I'm not asking to be the next husband or be a replacement for his wife.

More that his dating story would be about him being open to companionship dispites everything else that has gone wrong. That he has a confidence person who he can be vulnerable with.

Sort of the same thing with Zeki;
He's a little scoundrel who habitually manipulates people, and the town just kind of accepts it.
His companionship quests could be one where you become a "partner in petty crime" where he likes keeping you around instead of lying to you for profit.

These companionship stories don't need to be limited to just romantic dating and I think its silly that people keep trying to box it up in that way.

These aren't companionship quests, they are specifically broken down into "Friendship" and "Romance", if you want companionship quest (more than a friend, less than romantic) then suggest they add that to the game for specific characters. Ashura, Zeki, and Chayne would all be perfect ones given their physical, personality, and profession traits.
