romance content

hopefully in the next major update there is more romance content for those who have reached the max level. cute date quests, sometimes random mail or visits from your chosen character, etc. things that make it feel like you're actually dating them or progressing the relationship further. otherwise, what is really the point in having the romance option if when you max it out, it's just the same dialogue when you talk to them.

I was literally looking for some kind of update around this very thing. I'm not a big fan of the "romance everyone" side of things. I"m an older gamer, and while I'm aware they're not real people, I tend to game the way I live in real life. I immediately found Najuma to be such a sweet kiddo and as a mom of 4 I automatically wanted to be her friend. Her Dad turned out to be a bonus LOL not the other way around. I loved their story arc, I really felt for their loss. It was pretty nicely written. I wanted to help the two of them reconnect and have a better relationship. Romance wasn't even a thought at first. So when I decided after having already maxed out my friendship with Najuma that I really liked her dad enough to drop that box of chocolates, I wished for an option to ask her permission first. But she very sweetly decided for me that she was rooting for me lol.
Now we're pinned, but I'm wanting family dinner cut scenes or helping Najuma with her inventions, or dates with Hodari. LOL I talked with a couple other players who are pretty fond of their romances and they all say the same thing. No, it's not real life, no they're not actual people, but to "max out" on the romance seems terribly anticlimactic. I really do hope S6 will devote some real effort into expanding on those romance levels. It's a lovely diversion.

I hope any new Hodari dialogue will use the same voice actor, because it just fits so perfectly. "With you out there alone, I worry" Chef's kiss. SO good. Actually sounds like he means it, 10/10. Five stars. First time I heard it, I squeaked! Out loud!

It's a worry I have with games that add dialogue later, that the voice actor will be swapped later for some inferior replacement. Look at Subnautica below zero, they removed ALL original dialogue! And the original was fun!

Whoever voices Hodari puts 100% emotion into the dialogue. The fact I blushed when he says certain dialogue is crazy! I hope they don't change the voice actor either. Still waiting for more romance content for Hodari, haven't played in months so I don't know if anything has been added or announced

I think the romance system in the game should have been friend / best friend instead. It seems like they only put romance in so players could live out their fetish.

Hassian - Bad boy, I can change him
Hodari / Subira - Daddy / Mommy
Tish / Reth - Twins (siblings? I don't remember if they're twins)
Einar - Robo love
Jel - Goth boy / vampire
