Devs should add mounts

I've played Palia for 20hrs and reall enjoyed it, but the only thing I dislike is running from one side of the map to another. Honestly I would like to use a mount to do this. This running is just a waste of time and making me a little impatient, esspecialy because NPCs have their own harmonogram. What do you think?

Maybe adding a mount that allows you to carry more stuff and riding it will only give you a small speed boost would do, and you can only get it thru in game purchase. That would help the devs and would definitely be enticing to the players that are willing to spend in game for fun.

i mean if they made the mount a boat, which allowed us to do "ocean fishing" for different types of fish the farther out in the water you are, or maybe a diving suit to allow you to swim an add special gathering points on the bottom of the ocean? other priorities first to be sure, but when thinkin about it this way its no longer about travel, but function to get something new

Run speed in Palia seems to compare to first tier mounted speed in WoW (though I haven't played that game since the Cata expansion) As someone else pointed out it takes two minutes, if that, to cross a map. A few other MMO's I can think of have had issues when implementing mounts. The mounts can move faster than the server can tick which can cause disconnects, severe lag and in the worst case scenario crash the entire server for everyone.

Personally the idea of mounts is a fun one! I would love a proudhorned sernuk skin, but I question whether the servers could handle it much less justify it.

I would vote on having a skill related to farm animals and having farm animals way way before anything as trivial as a mount especially since fast travel and gliders exist.

Farming animals also it's a great idea! I just want more pets, not just an cosmetic thing.

I disagree. I love cozy games and I even play some games in cozy-like style. I can spend couple of hours in RDR2 just riding my horses and enjoying views, sometimes gathering some herbs. So THATS why I want a mount. I don't want to going on fullspeed and being in 30s on the other side of a map. I want to ride a mount, maybe a little bit faster, but more than that I just want to have a rideable companion.

I think having mounts as a pet feature would be fantastic, for the sole gameplay of caring for your mount, creating a bond, breeding for traits and colours, training and selling. I think this type of gameplay would be a wonderful addition to the already cosy and homely world of Palia ♥

The world just isn't big enough to need mounts. And it is so obnoxious in other games when you're trying to reach a shop and people are just AFK on their giant mounts standing over the registers. We really don't need that in Palia.

They just need to give us more fast travel points. Maybe even the ability to fast travel from the map itself (and not just home)

it would just be neat to have them mount horses all different kinds , mount donkey , mount pig , mount unicorn , mount bear , mount panther or tiger also still would be cool if you could select like 4 friends and when theyt are on their plot shows up next to yours like a mini town but each plot still has their own permissions

they could just not let mounts in shops or events
